We are thrilled to host Rockaway’s first-ever Black Birders Week Celebration on Saturday, June 1st, 2024 in Edgemere! Join us as we uplift and celebrate the Black Birders experience through a day in nature. We’ll start with a Bird Walk through the Arverne East Nature Preserve and then gather at The Garden By The Bay for nature-oriented activities, discussions, giveaways and lunch. This event is free to the public and all are welcome to join. RSVP encouraged. Click here.
