NYC Plover Project offers in-classroom and field trip programming for grades K-8 on a sliding scale. Our programming focuses on introducing students to shorebird biology and habitat, migration, identifying threats, and encouraging ways we can help our feathered friends. Please reach out to ciara@nycploverproject.org to learn more about our games, lesson plans, and field trips and we can cater our programming to your needs. 

Programming for high schoolers in the Rockaways is also available through our partnership with Gateway National Recreation Area and through funding from the National Park Foundation. Please reach out to ciara@nycploverproject.org to find out more.
